Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Can I use the oil stone on my nitrided welding table?

Many customers have noted that using an oilstone on their nitrided welding table can potentially damage the BAR (Black Anti-Rust) coating. This protective layer helps guard against rust, corrosion, and welding spatter adhesion. While an oilstone might address surface issues, it could compromise the coating and increase the risk of corrosion.

Other customers have found less abrasive options like nylon or brass brushes, or soft cleaning pads, to be more effective without causing damage.
