If you're using a 16mm 2" grid table, you'll love these variable capacity clamping bolts. End of story. They are worth it.

I recently purchased the 32 x 48 workbench and found myself stuck in an area of the shop then found the casters for the table and now I am mobile can choose when and where to fit or weld thanks Siegmund for your attention to detail no matter what you are doing this company understands and will find a way to fix your needs.,..

I received my workbench bundle (two of them) within a couple weeks of ordering. The order was temporarily lost in transit, which was frustrating, but Jonathan at Quantum was super helpful figuring out where FedEx dropped the ball.

The table itself is the quality you’d expect from Siegmund. The table top plate alone is worth the $999, but with the aluminum frame and accessory bundle, it’s an incredible value. Flat rate shipping is a great perk, too.

My only gripes are:

Grid lines- I really like that feature on my other 3D Siegmund table. The photos clearly show that it doesn’t have grid lines, so I can’t fault them there.

32” x 48”? Again, I knew what I was purchasing, but I still wish it was 36” x 48”. Maybe there’s some logic to the 32” dimension, but that extra 4 inches would be a huge improvement, IMO.

The last thing is the surface finish- not at all like the other Siegmund table I have, which is very smooth. These new workbench tops are plenty flat and fine for what they’ll be used for, but it has more of a gritty finish- think a rough eggshell paint vs a semigloss. We’ll see if the finish holds up as well as the other table.

I looked into every possible product/configuration from similar brands, and for this size and class of table, there’s not a better deal out there.

I am a retired 52/yr member of Steamfitter/welder NYC and I purchased the 32” x 48” x 5/8” hole, for my home hobby/welding shop and included this upgrade for additional Fixturing, this products are impressive in their quality, just having them in my hand I Ken told is so superior to some of the other products I have used in my career, the table is also equally impressive in person, and I must say better than I was expecting for the money I paid compared to most of the products on the market, sure wish I had purchased this much much sooner. 👨‍🏭

Such a quick and easy way to pick up your table to move it around or suspend it while attaching legs. Not something you'll use often but nice when you need it.

Was shipped well packaged and the top and legs are of excellent quality. The assembly was straightforward and makes for a very solid workbench. The clamps that came with the bench are great. I wish I would’ve purchased this earlier. I did purchase some wheels for it after the fact, and they’re awesome wheels, the bench rolls smoothly, but you do lose that solid feel when you replace the pads with wheels.
I was concerned with grounding regarding the nitride surface but has not been an issue at all. I have a ground cable bolted to the table so I don’t have to ground the work piece.
Top quality all around!

This set has spoiled me!

I've always relied on making my own fixtures and bracing for one-off jobs. This inevitably takes time and often leads to mistakes that compromise the finished product. I splurged on this kit, and I've never looked back! Repeatable, quick, and solid fixturing makes setting up jobs so much easier and less time-consuming. The more I use all the pieces, the more I realize the incredible range of possibilities this system offers!

Very well built. Worth the money. Assembly instructions need work. Hard to understand. Takes some time to figure out.

Everything about this table is heavy duty, even though it is one of the smaller and lighter tables they sell.
Nice, thick, heavy top and fixturing holes I would have loved on my old table.
Thick, heavy extrusions for the legs.
Assembly was easy enough, especially since I could slide the table top out of my truck’s bed onto the finished frame.
Otherwise, I would have to get help.
The only minor issue I had was with threading in some of the clamps and legs that had to be chased.
